Melsh Precious Pets have reduced Puppy prices for 2024 from $2000 to $1500 Plus tax 7%
New families must have a telephone interview with Melsh Precious Pets Over text or Call
At melsh precious pets Puppies are not reserved without a $500 non-refundable deposit and a signed deposit contract.

Experienced Breeders
We are located in Anamosa Iowa. Iowa state licensed breeder #12389. We are an in-home breeder of adorable, loving Miniature Dachshunds. Our dogs are raised and loved as a part of our family. We focus on health and temperament, and we are dedicated to maintaining responsible breeding practices. We do all that we can to make sure our pups get the best care and go to the best homes!

All of our adults are genetically tested both health and a color panel. We have also started testing each puppy before it goes to it’s new home.
A Furever Friend
Whether you are looking for a longhair, smooth or wire coat, we breed all three coat types. We have a variety of colors and patterns, but health and temperament, is our focus!
Basic Puppy Info
Parents are genetically tested health and color panels. All pups have been tested through Embark a full health/color panel. Embark tests for over 255 health concerns. Pups are wormed a few times, they all will have their first monthly dose of Revolution which is a heartworm, flea, mites, tick, mange preventative. At 6 weeks they receive their first neopar vaccine. All pups will have a health check and a set of shots at our veterinarian’s office. At 8 weeks old. The vet will also issue each pup an Iowa state health certificate.
